General Rules – DAIRY
LOCATION: Pinal County Fairgrounds, 11 Mile Corner, Casa Grande, Arizona

BASE DATE FOR SHOWS: May 26th, 27th, 2018
SANCTION: The Junior Doe and Senior Doe shows are separately sanctioned. Buck show is single sanctioned.
The AMERICAN DAIRY GOAT ASSOCIATION recognizes the Memorial Day Show as an official show. ADGA rules shall govern. ASGBA general rules apply.
ASGBA Members - $7.00 per animal per ring. Non members - $14.00 per animal per ring. No refunds.
No fee for showmanship
Checks should be made out to Arizona State Goat Breeders Association.
Entries postmarked after May 19th are subject to doubling unless per entry clerk request (i.e. requesting more animals to sanction a breed).
Check-In as follows: Friday afternoon 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Pinal County Fairgrounds will not assemble pens for us without an additional charge. The Show Committee will be assembling pens the weekend prior to our show. Pen fee will be $1.00/pen. The Show Committee will assemble holding pens by the ring area so please keep those pens and that area clear.
Add-ons and/or returned check fee(s) must be paid for at time of check-in.
DOGS – Absolutely NO dogs will be allowed near the show rings. Dogs must be on a leash when not penned or kenneled.
Dress Code will be strictly enforced.
If your animal is less than 6 months of age, a stamped duplicate is acceptable. Any animal over 6 months MUST have original registration papers. Animals must be entered under the “OWNED BY’ name on the registration papers, not the name on a
signed transfer paper. All animals must be checked in by Entry Clerk in order to show.
Chairman may choose to check any breed or age group for tattoos. If tattoos are not there or if they are illegible, ADGA will not award a Championship.
No animal showing evidence of disease will be accepted and will be required to leave the grounds. Entry fees will not be refunded. THE DECISION OF THE SHOW COMMITTEE WILL BE FINAL.
ENTRIES OUTSIDE OF ARIZONA:
All entries from out of state must have a Permit before entering Arizona. Permits can be obtained from: Arizona State Veterinarian

An official Health Certificate dated no more than 30 days prior to the show date and certifying that the animals are healthy must also accompany entries. Premise/Scrapie ID must appear on health certificate along with all tattoos/ear tags of animals being transported for exhibition. Animals must not have been exposed to blue tongue, cannot come from a herd with scrapie nor have been exposed to animals with scrapie.
Pinal County Fairgrounds is requiring every family group who stays overnight on the Fairgrounds to pay a fee of $20. To ensure compliance all campers must display a special permit at their camping area. You can submit a check with your entries (separate check payable to Pinal County Fairgrounds) OR you can pay at the show. Thanks for your cooperation.

Buck Classes – Single Sanction
ANIMALS MUST BE UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES. Any buck considered out of control by the ring steward, judge and/or show chairman will be excused from the ring and not allowed to show. Entry fees will not be refunded.
Class 11 Buckling Kid under 3 months
Class 12 Junior Buck Kid 3 months old but under 6 months
Class 13 Intermediate Buck Kid 6 months but under 9 months
Class 14 Senior Buck Kid 9 months but under 12 months
Class 15 1 year but under 2 years
Class 16 2 years but under 3 years
Class 17 3 years but under 5 years
Class 18 5 years and over
Reserve Grand Champion
Class CC : Champion Challenge (Best of Breed)
Award: Best Buck in Show
